Liquid Shotcrete Accelerator Admixture
DESCRIPTION
Deltamix Sprayset Liquid is a high performance liquid admixture which, when added to a cement/ aggregate dry mix gives accelerated set upon addition of water at the spray nozzle.
USES
Deltamix Sprayset Liquid is used to provide a rapid set to sprayed concrete. This improves overhead spraying, permits thicker build in one pass and provides early support strength.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTION
Mixing and Dispensing
A pumpable mix design is required to produce a high workability mix without risk of bleeding of segregation of aggregates. The correct quantity of Deltamix Sprayset Liquid is added to the mixer simultaneously with the water.
DOSAGE
The optimum dosage for Deltamix Sprayset Liquid to meet specific requirements should always be determined by trials using the material and conditions that will be experienced in use. The allows the optimisation of admixture dosage and mix design and provides a complete assessment of the concrete mix. A starting point for such trials is to use a dosage within the normal typical range of 5.0 litres/100 kg of cementitious material, including PFA, GGBFS, or Microsilica.
Effect Of Overdosing
An overdose of double the intended amount of Deltamix Sprayset Liquid will result in increased setting of the mix before it reaches the surface to be sprayed. It will also result in a loss of strength.
CLEANING
Any spillages should be washed with water.
STORAGE
Deltamix Sprayset Liquid has a shelf life 6 months when stored in original unopened package.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
Deltamix Sprayset Liquid should not come in contact with skin and eyes. Avoid inhalation during mixing. Protective gloves, goggles and mask should be worn. If contact with skin occurs wash skin occurs wash well with water. Splashes to eyes with cement slurry should be washed immediately with clean water and medical advice sought.
