General Purpose Non-shrink Cementitious Grout
DESCRIPTION
Deltagrout CG is a high strength and free flow non-shrink cementitious grout. Deltagrout CG consists of Portland cement, well-graded fine aggragates and special additives as the powder component. The present of special chemical additives will control plastic expansion and minimizing water demand to ensure high early and ultimate strength.
USES
- Heavy duty support beneath machine base plates, bridge bearing and crane rails
- Heavy duty anchoring
- Concrete anchors, rails beds and machine foundation
ADVANTAGES
- Pre-mixed
- Extra high strength and long term durability
- Expansion system compensates for shrinkage and settlement whilst in plastic state
- Flowable (may be pumped)
- Chloride free thus prevent rusting of the steel and anchor bolts
- Ready to use, premixed, and requires only the addition of water
APPLICATION INSTRUCTION
Preparation
The substrate surface must be free from oil, grease or any loosely adherent material. If the concrete surface is defective or has laitance. It must be cut back to a sound base. Bolt holes and fixing pockets must be clean and free from dust or loose material. It is essential to pre-soak the concrete substratewith water prior to application of Deltagrout CG. Excess water should be removed prior for grouting. The formwork should be constructed to be leak-proof.
Mixing
The quantity of clean water required to be added to a 25 kg bag is depending on required consistency. To achieve the trowel able consistency is 3.2 – 3.6 litres, whilst for flow able consistency it needs 3.5 – 4.5 litres. The selected water content should be accurately measured into the mixer. The total contents of the Deltagrout CG should be slowly added and continuous mixing should take place for 5 minutes. This will ensure that the grout has a smooth even consistency. Machine mixing is recommended to achieve continuous mixing and application.
Placing
At 200C place the grout within 20 minutes of mixing to gain the full benefit of the expansion process. Continuous grout flow essential. Sufficient grout must be prepare before starting. The time taken to pour a batch must be regulated to time to prepare the next one.
Cleaning
Deltagrout CG should be removed from tools and equipment with clean water immediately after use. Cured material can beremoved mechanically, or with weak acid.

HEALTH AND SAFETY
Deltagrout CG contains cement powders which, when mixed with the liquid, release alkalis which can be harmful to the skin. During use, avoid inhalation of the dust and contact with the skin or eyes. Wear suitable protective clothing – eye protection, gloves and respiratory equipment, particularly in confined spaces. In case of contact with the skin, rinse with plenty of clean water, then cleanse thoroughly with soap and water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice. If swallowed seek medical attention immediately
FIRE
Deltagrout CG is non-flammable material.
