Double Expansion Fluid Micro Concrete for Structural Repair
DESCRIPTION
Deltacon DE is a high strength fluid micro concrete for structural repair, made from well graded filler, portland cement and chemical additives which produce a free flowing, shrinkage compensated repair mortar. Deltacon DE gives a controlled expansion in both the plastic and hardened state; furthermore Deltacon DE has excellent bonding without needing any primer.
USES
Deltacon DE is especially designed and used for structural repair; to be pouring at congested reinforcement area, especially for column, beam or slab dimension enlargement or for filling the voids in concrete repair works.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE
Surface Preparation
Identify the repair area, saw cut or cut back the extremities of the repair location to a depth 10 mm to provide a square edge and to avoid delaminating. Clean the surface and remove any dust, unsound or contaminated material. Any loose material on repair area may exhibit poor bonding. If any, reinforcement bar should be cleaned from corrosion deposits – grit blasting is recommended.
Formwork on the repair area should be rigid and tight, made from non absorbing materials – to prevent water loosing for Deltacon DE.
Application
A mechanically powered grout mixer should be used for best results; a slow speed mixer should be used for quantities up to 50 kg. Before application it is better to ensure your mixing capacity and labor to be able to have continuously pouring method, when using pumping method please consult with the pump machine supplier for maximum capacity per batch.
Deltacon DE is supplied in 25 kg bag, which needs 3 - 3.5 litres waters per bag. Clean water is minimum requirement for best quality. Put the 2/3 of water into mixing bowl, pour Deltacon DE slowly as the mixer blend them thoroughly, pour the rest of the water to adjust your consistency mixture.
Deltacon DE has to be poured within 30 minutes after mixing to gain full benefit of the fluidity and expansion process. Deltacon DE can be placed up to 50 mm thickness in a single pour.
STORAGE
Deltacon DE has a shelf life of 12 months if kept in a dry store in its original, unopened bag.

HEALTH & SAFETY
Deltacon DE may cause harm in some skin contact, avoid contact with skins, eyes and inhalation of vapor. Protective gloves and eye protection are highly recommended during work of application.
