High Strength Non-shrink Cementitious Grout
DESCRIPTION
Deltagrout CG Premix is a two component, high strength and free flow non-shrink cementitious grout. Deltagrout CG Premix consists of Portland cements, well-graded fine aggregates and special additivies as the powder component (Part A), and the graded aggregates as Part B. The present of special chemical additives will control plastic expansion and minimizing water demand to ensure high early and ultimate strength.
USES
- Heavy duty support beneath machine base plates, bridge bearing and crane rails
- Heavy duty anchoring
- Concrete anchors, rail beds and machine foundation
ADVANTAGES
- Pre-mixed
- Extra high strength and long term durability
- Expansion system compensates for shrinkage and settlement whilst in plastic state
- Flowable ( may be pumped)
- Chloride free thus prevent rusting of the steel and anchor bolts
- Ready to use, premixed, and requires only the adddition of water
APPLICATION Instruction
Preparation
The substrate surface must be free from oil, grease or any loosely adherent material. If the concrete surface is defective or has laitance. It must be cut back to a sound base. Bolt holes and fixing pockets must be clean and free from dust or loose material. It is essential to pre-soak the concrete substrate with water prior to application of Deltagrout CG Premix. Excess water should be removed prior for grouting. The formwork should be constructed to be leak-proof.
MIXING
The quantity of clean water required to be added to a 25 kg bag ( Part A and Part B = 20 kg and 5 kg ) to achieve desired consistency is 2.8 to 3.6 Liters. The selected water content should be accurately measured into the mixer. The total contens of the Deltagrout CG Premix should be slowly added and continuous mixing should take place for 5 minutes. This will ensure that the grout has a smooth even consistency. Machine mixing is recommended to achieve continuous mixing and application.
PLACING
At 20oC place the grout within 20 minutes of mixing to gain the full benefit of the expansion process. Continuous grout flow is essential. Sufficient grout must be prepared before starting. The time taken pour a batch must be regulated to time to prepare the next one.
CLEANING
Deltagrout CG Premix should be removed from tools and equipment with clean water immediately after use. Cured material can be removed mechanically, or with weak acid.

HEALTH AND SAFETY
Deltagrout CG Premix contains cement powders which, when mixed with the liquid, release alkalis which can be harmful to the skin. During use, avoid inhalation of the dust and contact with the skin or eyes. Wear suitable protective clothing – eye protection, gloves and respiratory equipment, particularly in confined spaces. In case of contact with the skin, rinse with plenty of clean water, then cleanse thoroughly with soap and water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and sek medical advice. If swallowed seek medical attention immediately.
FIRE
Deltagrout CG Premix is non-flammable materials.
