Heat Reflective High Performance Coating
DESCRIPTION
Deltacoat Solarflect is a unique formulation which has been designed to reduce the temperature inside your home or factory in hot weather. It contains special material that can reflect the radiant heat or infrared rays from sunlight, so heat penetration to the other side of the substrate is minimized. Room temperature inside the building can be lower than ordinary coating. Consequently it can save the electricity cost in air conditioning usage. Through less heat exposure from daytime to the sun set, it gives more comfortable interior temperature.
For the first time, you can reduce the heat of your roof and live more comfortably. This will save energy and cooling cost. It will also reduce greenhouse emissions.
Deltacoat Solarflect will keep the surface of coating up to 200 C to 300 C cooler which means it will be 60C to 100 C cooler inside the room.
Heat reflecting properties of Deltacoat Solarflect indirectly maintain a more constant lower coating and substrate temperature and reduce thermal shock between day and night, which causing a sharp drop in temperature. During this temperature change, coating and substrate expand and contract, causing stress. So with Deltacoat Solarflect application, we can reduce the temperature change and can extend the life expectancy of the building.
Deltacoat Solarflect also protect metal from water and air, so it can inhibit corrosion growth.

INSTRUCTION OF USE
Surface Preparation
Surface must be clean and sound, free from all dust, rust, oil, grease, mould and other contaminants. Remove all loose, peeling, powdering or flaking material with a scraper, stiff-broom or brush.
Application
Deltacoat Solarflect can be applied by using brush or roller. Apply an even coat of Deltacoat Solarflect after the primer is completely dry. A second coat should be applied when the first coat is dry. For areas where reinforcement is required. Polyester mesh/ Super mesh should be embedded into wet first coat.
For optimum heat insulation performance, apply 2 coats of Deltacoat Solarflect with coverage 1 kg for 1 m2 with minimum dry film thickness of 0.9 mm.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
Deltacoat Solarflect is a uniquely formulated material, and during use, avoid inhalation contact with the skin or eyes. Wear suitable protective clothing - eye protection, gloves and respiratory equipment, particularly in confined spaces. In case of contact with the skin, rinse with plenty of clean water, then cleanse thoroughly with soap and water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice. If swallowed seek medical attention immediately.
