Self levelling Cementitious Flooring
DESCRIPTION
Deltafloor CLT30 is a self leveling mortar as a material for thin layer floor topping with a thickness of 6 mm – 12 mm, it is used in areas that are subjected to pedestrian and forklift traffic. It can be used for reinstatement of existing floors or as a final wearing course on new concrete floors where specified floor tolerances have not been achieved or where, for speed of installation, the concrete floor has been left with a tamped finish. Deltafloor CLT30 Grey is made from specially graded materials like cement, mineral fillers, special polymer and additive mixed homogenously. Deltafloor CLT30 is a powder form and available in grey colour which requires only the addition of water to produce a free flowing and self – smoothing material. It can be applied by hand or by mixer pump.
USES
• Warehouses
• Light to medium engineering operations
• Car parks
ADVANTAGES
• Easy to use for pumped or manual application
• Fast working time
• High early strength
• Good leveling
• Good adhesion on the subsrates
• Cost effective
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Surface Preparation
1. New concrete should be at least 21 days and have moisture content of less than 5%
2. New and old concrete must be clean and free from contaminants, dust and dirt in order to obtain a good bond
3. Repair the holes on the substrate
Priming
1. The prepared surface must be primed with Deltabond SB1 using roller or brush with coverage 1 kg/4 m2
2. Ensure the coat is dry before applying Deltafloor CLT30
Mixing
1. Pour 4.5 – 5 litres of water (18 – 20 % of powder) into bucket.
2. Pour 25 kgs (1 bag) of Deltafloor CLT30 into water. Only for bag mixing is permissible.
3. Mix for 3 – 5 minutes or until a smooth and creamy consistency is obtained (no agglomeration).
Application
1. Pour Deltafloor CLT30 mixture onto primed surface.
2. Spread it with trowel.
3. It is recommended that applicators wear spikes shoes during applications.
4. Use spike roller to minimize the bubble/microfoam in Deltafloor CLT30 grey mixture. Rolling must be done immediately after placing the material.
5. Coverage of Deltafloor CLT30 is 12 – 24 kg powder/m2 for 6 – 12 mm thickness
Curing and Treatment
• Under normal interior conditions, curing is not required.
• Where rapid drying conditions (high temperature, direct sunlight), it should be covered with plastic film for at least 1 or 3 days or curing with Deltabond SB1.
CLEANING
The equipment after application should be removed with clean water. Cured material can be removed mechanically, or with weak acid.

STORAGE
Deltafloor CLT30 is cementitious based and has a shelf life of 6 months if stored in cool dry place and sealed packaging. Keep and avoid Deltafloor CLT30 from direct rain and sunlight.
LIMITATIONS
• Do not use Deltafloor CLT30 for heavy duty application.
• Do not add cement or any admixture.
• Do not use Deltafloor CLT30 on wet substrate.
• Working life would be shortened at higher temperature
• If the substrate onto which Deltafloor CLT30 is applied moves or cracks, reflective cracking may occur.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
• Avoid eye and skin contact as the product is alkaline.
• Avoid inhalation of dust during mixing.
• Wash thoroughly after handling.
• In case of eye contact, flush with plenty of clean water. Seek medical help immediately.
FIRE
Deltafloor CLT30 is non – flammable material
