High Gloss Solvent Based Epoxy Coating

DESCRIPTION

DELTACOAT ESB is a high performance two components solvent based epoxy coating which is used in all kinds of manufacturing, storage and processing areas. The characteristics of these materials provide a surface that not only has greater durability but also a chemical resistant barrier to the substrate. DELTACOAT ESB can be applied on concrete/ cement based surface, mild steel, zinc, asbestos, wood, etc.

PREPARATION AND APPLICATION

Surface Preparation :

Surface must be free oil, grease, water, and other contaminants that may inhibit bond.

Application :

Mix enamel and hardener for a minimum of 2 minutes thoroughly until the mix become homogeneous. Spread out the mix using roller or trowel to cover all the surface. Allow first coat to dry for approximately 2 hours. Second coat must be applied at a 900 angle to the first coat.

Pot life (at 250C) = 4 hours
Coverage = 4 m2/kg (2 coats), thickness = 100µm
Setting/curing
Do not allow water or chemicals on the coated surface for a minimum of 72 hours.

Deltacoat ESB should not applied on the surface known to, or likely to suffer form, rising dampness, potential osmosis problems or have a relative humidity greater than 75%. If movement or cracking of the substrates takes place after application then reflective cracking of topping may occur. Ambient temperature when application is more than 100C.

High Gloss Solvent Free Epoxy Coating

DESCRIPTION

Deltacoat ESF is a two-component solvent free epoxy coating that suitable for coating of wallsystem. The cured film of Deltacoat ESF forms a hard, gloss and smooth layer with excellent adhesion to concrete substrate.

USES

Deltacoat ESF is recommended to areas where chemical resistance and aspects are required. Deltacoat ESF is recommended for use in floor of warehouses, industrial and food processing areas, kitchen, laboratory, engineering workshops, and car parks.

ADVANTAGES

Impervious seamless and jointless surface, easy to clean and maintain, hygienic, chemical resistance, excellent wear and abrasion resistance and have aesthetic state of art.

CONSUMPTION

Deltacoat ESF consumption is 0.25 – 0.3 kg/m2 for 175 micron thickness. Please kindly contact DELTACRETE to have appropriate technical assistance for the recommended thickness since material performance may vary at different surface.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE

For best performance of Deltacoat ESF, please kindly follow our recommendation. Preparation is a must before application. For new concrete, allow the concrete to cure at least 72 days. Humidity is not more than 75% measured in accordance with BS 8203. Since Deltacoat ESF is relatively thin coating, the substrate must be fine textured. Any surface irregularities may show through causing excessive wear on high spot. Concrete substrate must be structurally sound, clean, dry and free from all traces of loose material, laitance, oil and grease. Any unsound material must be removed before application. Preparation by captive blasting or diamond grinding is ideal for surface preparation. Priming using Deltaprime series will enhance the adhesion of top coat with the concrete. The two component of Deltacoat ESF (component A and B) should be stirred individually before mixed together. Put both component in a mixing vessel and mix them thoroughly using low speed drill and mixing paddle mixer. Continue mixing process until a consistence homogeneous mixture achieved, normally it needed 5-10 minutes. Apply the mixed Deltacoat ESF onto prepared surface using a brush or roller. Ensure that the area is completely coated and that ‘ponding’ material does not occur.

CLEANING

Tools and equipment should be cleaned immediately after use, while the mixture are still un-cured with solvent cleaner. When mixture already harden, please kindly remove the material mechanically.

Polymer Emulsion Liquid Membrane Concrete Curing Compound

DESCRIPTION

Deltacure PB is a polymer emulsion liquid membrane curing compound, milky white in colour and cures to a clear film.

USES

Provides a film or high water retention enabling curing of the concrete by reducing loss of water form the concrete.

ADVANTAGES

APPLICATION INSTRUCTION

Application

Stir contents thoroughly before using. Spray Deltacure PB evenly as possible over the freshly laid concrete as soon as possible after final trowelling when the surface water has freshly laid concrete as soon as possible after final trowelling when he surface water has disapeared (approx. 1-2 hours depending on ambient temperature and atmospheric conditions). If spray equipment is not available, apply with a soft brush as soon as the concrete surface is hard enough.

Apply to vertical surface immediately after the form work has been removed. Apply at even coverage rate of not greater than 6 sq, mtr per litre.

Ensure the concrete surface is completely free of stains, oils, form coating, etc to obtain good adhesion of Deltacure PB and of any other trades, and to avoid obtaining discolouration or uneven surface effects.

Cleaning

Immediately after use, the spraying equipment should be cleaned out, especially the line and nozzle, with water.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

If contact with the resin occurs, the skin should be washed with soap and water – non solvent. A resin removing cream should preferably used. Goggles should be worn when spraying with a shout lance. Any eye contamination should be washed with plenty of water and medical treatment sought. When used in enclosed areas, good ventilation must be provided.

Deltacoat CSH

Waterproofing For Mansory And Concrete

DESCRIPTION

Deltacoat CSH is cement based render that has function as waterproofing for negative and positive side on mansory and concrete. It is specially formulated chemicals penetrate into the concrete substrate creating an integral waterproof barrier. It will protect the building from negative side water pressure. Deltacoat CSH is suitable for problem like “seepage” on the wall. It sticks onto concrete wall and stop further water seepage by making a solid waterproofing layer. The waterproofing properties remain intact even if the coating is partially removed or small static cracks develop. Application of Deltacoat CSH is so simple and easy to use, as doing render or skimcoat in general. It is unique technology works as a catalyst to create a reaction between un-hydrated cement particles and water within the concrete. APPLICATION

- Old Concrete Or Coated Wall

Health And Safety

This material becomes caustic when mixed with water or perspiration. Avoid contact with skin or eyes. In case of skin contact, wash with soap and water. Flush eyes immediately with warm water for several minutes. If ingested, do not induce vomiting. If victim is alert, give two glasses of water. Avoid breathing dust. Wear long sleeves, eye goggles and a dust mask. See the material safety data sheet for this product.

Heat Reflective High Performance Coating

DESCRIPTION

Deltacoat Solarflect is a unique formulation which has been designed to reduce the temperature inside your home or factory in hot weather. It contains special material that can reflect the radiant heat or infrared rays from sunlight, so heat penetration to the other side of the substrate is minimized. Room temperature inside the building can be lower than ordinary coating. Consequently it can save the electricity cost in air conditioning usage. Through less heat exposure from daytime to the sun set, it gives more comfortable interior temperature.

For the first time, you can reduce the heat of your roof and live more comfortably. This will save energy and cooling cost. It will also reduce greenhouse emissions.

Deltacoat Solarflect will keep the surface of coating up to 200 C to 300 C cooler which means it will be 60C to 100 C cooler inside the room.

Heat reflecting properties of Deltacoat Solarflect indirectly maintain a more constant lower coating and substrate temperature and reduce thermal shock between day and night, which causing a sharp drop in temperature. During this temperature change, coating and substrate expand and contract, causing stress. INSTRUCTION OF USE

Surface Preparation

Surface must be clean and sound, free from all dust, rust, oil, grease, mould and other contaminants. Remove all loose, peeling, powdering or flaking material with a scraper, stiff-broom or brush.

Application

Deltacoat Solarflect can be applied by using brush or roller. Apply an even coat of Deltacoat Solarflect after the primer is completely dry. A second coat should be applied when the first coat is dry. For areas where reinforcement is required. Polyester mesh/ Super mesh should be embedded into wet first coat.

For optimum heat insulation performance, apply 2 coats of Deltacoat Solarflect with coverage 1 kg for 1 m2 with minimum dry film thickness of 0.9 mm.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

Deltacoat Solarflect is a uniquely formulated material, and during use, avoid inhalation contact with the skin or eyes. Wear suitable protective clothing - eye protection, gloves and respiratory equipment, particularly in confined spaces. In case of contact with the skin, rinse with plenty of clean water, then cleanse thoroughly with soap and water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice. If swallowed seek medical attention immediately.
