Deltafloor FAB is a water-based emulsion that suitable for indoors and outdoors application. It has a good adhesion, abrasion resistance, free from metal, easy to apply, weather resistance because non yellowing like epoxy, easy to clean, and anti-slip. APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Surface Preparations

Make sure the surface to be coated is dry, clean, free from dirt, rust, grease, oil, mould or any other loose material. It will be best to sweep away all the debris and dust before application. If the surface is still damp it will make the application easy to peel off. To make the adhesion even better, the surface should be primed with a Deltabond SB1.

If surface is smooth, it needs to buff it first and apply with DeltabondSB1.

Applications

Deltafloor FAB can be applied with brush or roller. Apply evenly to the substrate following the recommended dosage (0.3 kg/ m2) for two coats. The second coat can be applied after the first coat has started to set and can support the following coat. Usually, it only takes 5 – 10 minutes maximum, depending on the weather and humidity around. After applying two coats, it takes minimal 1 day to traffic foot and 2 -3 days to use for sport court.

 

LIMITATION

Deltafloor FABshould not submerged for a long time. Deltafloor FAB cannot be applied to water ponding areas.

CLEANING

The equipment after application should be removed with clean water.

Store in a dry and cool place. Protect against moisture. Store container in a well-ventilated place. The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable.

In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons

Deltahard LCH

Liquid Concrete Hardener

DESCRIPTION

DELTAHARD LCH is one component liquid concrete hardener based on metallic silicate with high silica content that can react chemically to produce a hard, abrasion resistant and dust-free finish. DELTAHARD LCH can be applied on any old or new floor concrete surface. It will absorp into the concrete surface and react with free lime and cement mortar forming a hard synthetic quartz-like material.

APPLICATION Instruction

Surface Preparation

DELTAHARD LCH can be applied immediately after final finishing operations and when the concrete has hardened sufficiently at minimum 14 days of age. It can also be applied for old concrete.

The concrete surface must be clean and sound. Remove any dust, laitance, grease, oil, dirt, curing agents, impregnations, wax, coating and disintegrated material from surface. Grind the concrete to open the concrete pores. This will allow optimum penetration of DELTAHARD LCH

PRODUCT APPLICATION

Depending on size of work area, DELTAHARD LCH can be applied with a pump up sprayer or a high volume, low-pressure sprayer (HVLP). Apply DELTAHARD LCH to the surface evenly at the rate of approximately 80-200 m2 per pail (20 kgs) or 4–10 m2/ 1 kg of Deltahard LCH. Lightly broom out any puddles immediately after the material has been applied. Allow DELTAHARD LCH to remain on the surface for 20-30 minutes. DO NOT LET ANY AREA DRY OUT during this time. Add more DELTAHARD LCH as needed in order to maintain a uniformly wet surface. After material has completely penetrated the surface, continue grinding and polishing to the intended final surface profile and desired finish. For best results, use an auto scrubber and water to remove residual slurry between abrasive disc grits.

CLEAN UP

Use water to clean tools and equipment. Treatment is environmentally friendly and requires no special or hazardous disposal methods.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

DELTAHARD LCH is caustic materials which can be harmful to the skin and eye. During use, avoid contact with the skin or eyes. Wear suitable protective clothing – eye protectionand gloves. Good ventilation is necessary when applying DELTAHARD LCH. In case of contact with the skin, rinse with plenty of clean water, then cleanse thoroughly with soap and water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice. If swallowed seek medical attention immediately.

Deltafloor CFT

Patching Repair Mortar for Large Concrete Floors

DESCRIPTION

A premixed mixture of portland cement, plasticised additive, acrylic binder, high performance fibre and natural silica sand and aggregate with selected shape, grading, high physical quality and mechanical performance, designed to have high compressive and flexural strength with good abrasion resistance and smooth finished surface.

USES

Deltafloor CFT is one component cementitious material that just need the addition of clean water and especially used for reinstatement of large damaged or deteriorated concrete floors. It is ideally suited for all industrial areas subjected to medium and heavy traffic, for example warehouses, traffic lanes, engineering workshops, car parks, garage, laboratories, etc.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE

Surface Preparation

Identify the repair area, saw cut or cut back the extremities of the repair location to a depth 10 mm to provide a square edge and to avoid delaminating. The substrate surface must be sound, free from oil, grease or any loose adherent material. Any loose material on repair area may exhibit poor bonding. If any, reinforcement bar should be cleaned from corrosion deposits – grit blasting is recommended.

Priming

Priming is required to enhance the bonding of Deltafloor CFT substance with the concrete substrate. Deltabond SB is the most recommended priming material for this system.

Application

A mechanically powered grout mixer should be used for best results; a high shear mechanical mixer should be used for quantities up to 50 kg. Before application it is better to ensure your mixing capacity and labor to be able to have continuously working method and best result.

Deltafloor CFT is supplied in 25 kg bag, which needs 3 - 3.5 litres of water per bag depending on the required consistency, and this will give a thickness of approximately 1.4 cm of hardened material. Clean water is minimum requirement for best quality. Put the 2/3 of water into mixing bowl, pour Deltafloor CFT slowly as the mixer blend them thoroughly, pour the rest of the water to adjust your consistency mixture.

Deltafloor CFT has to be poured soon after mixing to gain full benefit, ensure to use proper trowel method to level the Deltafloor CFT substance, a metal blade trowel will make a smooth finish. Deltafloor CFT should be placed at minimum 6 mm up to 30 mm thickness in a single pour, which makes it possible to gain more thickness by multi layers.

STORAGE

Deltafloor CFT has a shelf life of 12 months if kept in a dry store in its original, unopened bag.

HEALTH & SAFETY

Deltafloor CFT is not flammable material. Deltafloor CFT may cause harm in some skin contact, avoid contact with skins, eyes and inhalation of vapor. Protective gloves and eye protection are highly recommended during work of application.

Deltafloor CLT

Self levelling Cementitious Flooring

DESCRIPTION

Deltafloor CLT is a self levelling mortar as a material for facing concrete floor. It can be use for underlayment or overlayment applications. It is made from specially graded materials like cement, mineral fillers, binder and additive mixed homogenously. Deltafloor CLT is a powder form and available in light yellow colour.

When mixed with water, Deltafloor CLT is becomes a self – levelling compound which easy to apply either by hand or pump in thickness from 2 to 3 mm. After setting, in only a few hours, Deltafloor CLT has high early strength, dries quickly so that any further finishing may be applied after a very short time.

USES

Deltafloor CLT can be used to get levelling and smoothing floor. It is suitable for internal and eksternal application in industrial and public applications, such as :

1. For old or new floor, such as pedestrian traffic at shopping centres/ supermarkets, restaurants, appartments, show room, etc.

2. For receiving carpets, vinyl tiles, etc (Underlayment)

3. For industrial floors, such as chemical and processing plants, that must be protected with epoxy or water based paints flooring.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Surface Preparation

  1. New concrete should be at least 7 days old or more
  2. New and old concrete must be clean and free from contaminants, dust and dirt in order to obtain a good bond
  3. Repair the holes on substrate

Priming

  1. The prepared surface must be primed with Deltabond SB/ Deltabond SB1 using roller or brush with coverage 1 kg/4m2.
  2. Apply an even coat of Deltabond SB/ Deltabond SB1 after the first coat is completely dry.
  3. Ensure the coat is dry before the next coat of primer or applying Deltafloor CLT.

Mixing

  1. Pour 5.75 litres of water (23% of powder) into bucket
  2. Pour 25 kgs (1 bag) of Deltafloor CLT into water
  3. Mix for 2 – 3 minutes or until no agglomeration of Deltafloor CLT.

Application

  1. Pour Deltafloor CLT mixture onto primed surface
  2. Spread it with trowel
  3. It is recommended that applicators wear spikes shoes during applications
  4. Use spike roller to minimize the bubble/microfoam in Deltafloor CLT mixture
  5. Coverage of Deltafloor CLT is 6 kg powder/m2 for 2 – 3 mm thick

Curing and Treatment

-       Under normal interior conditions, curing is not required

-       Where rapid drying conditions (high temperature, direct sunlight), it should be covered with plastic film for at least 1 or 3 days.

Cleaning

The equipment after application should be removed with clean water. Cured material can be removed mechanically, or with weak acid.

STORAGE

Deltafloor CLT is cementitious based and has a shelf life of 6 months if stored in cool dry place and sealed packaging. Keep and avoid direct Deltafloor CLT from rain and sunlight.

LIMITATIONS

  • Do not use Deltafloor CLT for heavy duty application
  • Do not add cement or any admixture
  • Do not use Deltafloor CLT on wet substrate
  • Working life would be shortened at higher temperature

HEALTH AND SAFETY

  • Avoid eye and skin contact as the product is alkaline
  • Avoid inhalation of dust during mixing
  • Wash thoroughly after handling
  • In case of eye contact, flush with plenty of clean water. Seek medical help immediately.

 

Deltafloor HD5000

Heavy Duty Epoxy Resin Floor Mortar Screed

DESCRIPTION

A three-component 5 mm thick floor mortar screed based on solvent-free epoxy resins, bound together with non metallic natural aggregate with selected shape, grading, high physical quality and mechanical performance.

USES

Deltafloor HD5000 has been developed and designed for floor areas where high resistance to mechanical and chemical attack is required. It forms a non-slip, abrasion-resistant epoxy resin flooring of 5 mm thickness, which is ideal for medium to heavy duty industrial floors, workshop and factory floors, airport hangars, stairs, warehouses, traffic lanes, engineering workshops, and car parks.

CONSUMPTION

Mortar screed with Deltafloor HD5000 at 11 - 12 kg set (A+B+C)/m2 for 5 mm thickness.

If top coat is needed, apply Deltafloor TC301 at 0.5 kg/m2 for 300 micron thickness in two coats.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE

Substrate must be structurally sound, clean, dry and free from all traces of loose material, laitance, oil and grease. Any unsound material must be removed before application. Priming with Deltaprime Series and apply Deltafloor HD5000 when primer is still wet and tacky. For mixing Deltafloor HD5000, first stir all component A (enamel) with an electric stirrer prior to batching, then add all component B (hardener) into the mixer and mix them for 3 minutes at a low speed. Place some portion of component C (fillers) into the mixer and whilst mixing in progress, add the remaining portion of component C (fillers). Continue mixing process until a homogeneous and uniformly moist mix is obtained.

LIMITATIONS

Deltafloor HD5000 should not applied on the surface known to, or likely to suffer from, rising dampness, potential osmosis problems or have a relative humidity greater than 75%. If movement or cracking of the substrate takes place after application then reflective cracking of topping may occur. Ambient temperature when application is more than 10°C. The concrete substrate when application should be at least 28 days old

HEALTH AND SAFETY

Deltafloor range of products can cause skin irritations in persons with sensitive skin. Wear protective clothing like gloves, goggles and respiratory equipment, particularly in confined spaces. Ensure adequate ventilation and avoid inhalation of vapors. If splashed into the eyes, nose, mouth or throat, flush immediately with plenty of clean, warm water and seek medical attention without delay.

FIRE

Deltafloor HD5000 and Deltaprime SF are non-flammable materials.

Deltafloor TC300 is flammable material. Keep away from source of ignition. No smoking. In the event of fire, extinguish with CO2 or foam.
